ISFAHAN -- Isfahan's Museum of Contemporary Arts on Friday opened doors to citizens willing to visit selected pieces of photos by European artists.

More than 180 photos, taken by nine skilled photographers from eight European Union states, including Finland, Denmark, Austria, the U.K, Spain, Germany, France and Italy, are put on display for ten days at the `European Contemporary Photography' exhibition, IRNA reported.

The photographic works depict snapshots of social life in the European community, still life and living nature, costumes and rituals and a diverse collection of man-made structures by the global community.

The ten-day exhibition is cosponsored by the embassies of the European Union states and Iran, marking the second event of such kind in one of Iran's cultural capitals besides Shiraz, Isfahan.

Tehran was the former host of the event featuring the European photographers works, and other Iranian metropolitan cities are to take the stand to host such exhibitions in near future.
